The seatpost is brand new and has never been mounted on a bicycle. It is part of a bulk order (OEM) from X-Fusion so there is no retail box. 

Includes all the parts need to install the post: handlebar remote, cable, housing and ferrules. 

The handlebar remote can be mounted in any orientation: left side, right side, top or bottom of the handlebar. 

Frame Compatibility: 
1) Please check your frame or current seatpost's diameter. There are 4 popular seatpost diameters. Make sure this seatpost has the same diameter as your frame. 
2) This seatpost is for internally routed cables only. This seatpost does not work with externally routed cables. Your frame must have internally routed cable ports. The cable for the remote needs to run inside the frame to attach to the bottom of the seatpost..
