The Manic is one of the most dependable, long lasting seatposts on the market. We have sold thousands of dropper posts from several manufacturers. None of them have been as trouble free as the Manic. If you don't know the brand, check their reviews. They make excellent suspension forks, shocks and dropper posts at a great price point. 

The seatpost includes all the hardware needed to install the post: handlebar remote, ferrules, cables and housing. 

The handlebar remote can be mounted in any orientation: left side, right side, top or bottom of the handlebar. 

Tech note: This is for internally routed cables. The remote cable needs to run through the frame and attaches to the bottom of the seatpost. This seatpost cannot be used with external cable routing.
